And while healthy skin is absolutely part of what we do, over the years I’ve realized something much deeper.

Somewhere along the way, many women forgot what it feels like to simply receive.

That’s what inspired The Ritual.

We didn’t create another facial.

We created a pause.

MEET LAURIE! We love it when the right people find their way to Desert Rose, and Laurie? She was always meant to be here.

With over 25 years in the industry, Laurie brings a level of experience and care that's honestly hard to find. But what makes her special isn't just her skill - it's her why.

Laurie grew up struggling with acne and the self-consciousness that comes with it. She knows what it feels like to look in the mirror and wish things were different. That personal journey is exactly what drives her passion for helping others feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.

Before becoming an esthetician, Laurie spent years in the medical field, including assisting in plastic surgery procedures and laser resurfacing. So when she talks about skin, she's not guessing. She has seen it from the inside out, literally.

She's also a cancer survivor, a grandma who treasures every single moment with her grandkids, a bookworm, and a crocheter (which means her hands are basically magic - just saying).

Outside the treatment room, she's a total homebody who loves a quiet life well-lived. And inside it? She's fully focused on you.
