This transformation is everything. 🥹
Back in March, my client came to me wanting extensions, but after looking at her hair I knew K-tips or a sew-in alone weren’t going to fix the issue. The top of her hair had damage from a previous stylist, and the last thing I wanted to do was put extensions over it and hope for the best.
Instead of telling her no, I started looking for a solution. (Funny enough, my phone was definitely listening 😂) I kept seeing education on mesh integration and closures, and I knew I needed to learn it so I could help clients like her.
The first time, we did a closure on top with K-tips underneath so everything looked super natural while giving her scalp and hair time to heal. She had been wearing a wig basically 24/7, so getting her into something comfortable while protecting her hair was the goal.
Fast forward 3 months… look at her now. 😭✨
Her hair is THRIVING. We’ve graduated to her topper being installed full time, and she’s now able to wear 22” sew-in extensions.
This is exactly why I don’t believe in forcing every client into the same method. Sometimes it’s K-tips. Sometimes it’s a sew-in. Sometimes it’s mesh integration. My job is figuring out what your hair actually needs.
Healthy hair and extensions can absolutely go together when they’re done the right way. 🤍

It may be hard to compare length because of the different shirts, but look at her natural hair growth from February to May. Even after removing her K-tips, her hair is still full, healthy, and thriving.
This is why I’m so passionate about proper density matching, texture matching, and installation techniques. Extensions shouldn’t leave your hair worse than when you started.

|•| What does something like this cost?
My K-tip installs start at $1,500 and are customized to each guest. Pricing can vary based on the complexity of the install, the amount of hair needed, length, texture matching, and the number of custom colors I blend to create the most seamless result.
|•| Is it the same price every time?
For the most part, yes. I do not reuse or re-bond extension hair. I prefer every install to be done with fresh hair to maintain the quality, integrity, and overall longevity of your extensions.
|•| How long do they last?
K-tips typically last 3–4 months, sometimes longer depending on your natural hair, lifestyle, and at-home maintenance. One of my favorite things about this method is that there are no move-up appointments—just beautiful hair every day until it’s time for a fresh install.

My gorgeous client went from wefts ➡️ k tips 🤭
So lightweight, customizable, and blended perfectly for HER hair.
It had been a while since we refreshed her color so we made sure to take care of that too 🫶🏼
One of my favorite things about this method is how low maintenance it is. No move ups every 6 to 8 weeks. She gets to just live her life and enjoy beautiful hair for the next 3 to 4 months 🤌🏻
