I know how acne feels, because it’s run my life for a decade.

I can’t even believe I’m typing this. I used to cake my face with 3 layers of foundation. I would avoid mirrors, avoid photos, hide in the back, pick, squeeze, obsess, cry.

I tried everything. Dermatologists didn’t listen, estheticians didn’t explain anything, I ran in circles and spent thousands. Early this year, I realized that the power to change always starts with you. I knew that estheticians had the key, they had it figured out.

So I said fine, I’ll become an esthetician then.
