✨This picture captures 4 years into my training journey as a hairdresser. I was already working behind the chair long before this photo was taken, and my commitment and dedication to this craft has only grown stronger. I’ve decided to keep digging deep into my toolbox of knowledge and share even more with you. I’m not just showing you before and afters anymore. I’m sharing how I did it.
That’s where the real transformation happens. Since I was 16 years old in hair school, I’ve been hungry for education. I wanted to know how to create what my clients desired to fascinate them and help them feel beautiful. I never wanted to tell a client that I didn’t know how to do something. So I committed myself to learning as much as I could, and I still do today. I wanted the ability to create just about anything, which made doing hair more exciting for me. Knowing I could create limitless possibilities fueled my passion even more.

✨ I’m grateful I had the courage to choose this path. I was able to take an entrance exam at 16 to get into a private academy when a GED or diploma was required. I made a decision about what I was going to do, and I committed to taking it as far as it was possible to go. My whole life has been invested in this great industry, and I love it with all my heart. I loved it so much that I finished high school a year early. I didn’t want to be a high school student and a licensed professional at the same time. I thought that would be odd I thought who would want to come to me if they knew I was still in high school? I was supposed to be the class of 2000, but instead the class of 1999. Thanks to an awesome teacher who believed in me, I graduated early. Life has been quite a journey with so many stories to tell. It has never been an easy one It has always been tough. But I’ve worked hard to learn all that I can and made sure to keep learning always. I believe there is a lesson to learn in everything if you just open your eyes and look for it. Now, I plan to keep sharing my journey with all of you. My hope is to inspire others, just as I have been inspired throughout the years. Just a little itty bitty, tiny glimpse into my hair history. 😉 27 years 😆
