Dear Salon Guest,
Isn’t life sweet, and let’s not forget precious!
First off, I would like to thank all of my wonderful “Hometown Roots” salon guests for your support these last 9 years.
Thank you for your loyalty and patience during the first few months while enjoying the newborn days for my last three babies (I promise I’m done)!
The last 5 months have been filled with lots of babies snuggles, learning to navigate a family of 6 and owning a business! However, they have also been filled with unexpected surgery, doctors appts, hospital stays and extended time to heal.
Whether you have been waiting it out, rescheduled, cancelled or accommodated by another stylist- I appreciate you understanding. The love and support was felt!
I am slowly working on getting back to my regular schedule. If you have not heard from me, thank you for understanding. If you have seen another stylist in the meanwhile, thank you for supporting them. If you have messaged me and did not hear back, thank you for giving me grace. And most importantly thank you for being kind.
Let’s not forget to thank my amazing stylist friends who have helped me during my maternity leave, followed by my extended time off to heal. YOU guys are awesome!

Are you looking for a place to call your own?
Hometown Roots is an upscale salon located in the heart of Lake Placid, FL. We are an established salon of 7 years with an overflow of clientele! Our salon is tailored to guests of all ages looking for a fun and relaxing experience. We lead the way in trending styles and provide an experience that keeps guests coming back!
With a newly renovated waiting area, your guests can relax comfortably while waiting for their services.
Stylists will seat their guests in our large electric powered chairs that move up and down at the push of a button to begin their hair experience! These adjustable chairs are compatible for shorter or taller stylist! The full body mirrored stations have four cabinets discreetly placed behind the mirror for additional storage, tool holster, as well as a rollable stylist cart.
The color bar is where the MAGIC HAPPENS! This area will provide you with upper storage, lower storage ,and a drawer for additional styling tools, and color storage! At Hometown Roots our culture is all about teamwork! Never hesitate in this area to brainstorm color formulas and ideas! Two minds are better than one!
The shampoo room is in a separate area of the salon providing a for a more private experience. We have two amazing shampoo chairs that not only offer a comfortable position for a side or behind shampoo-er, but also an adjustable bowl for each individual guest with a reclining option! Two hot towel warmers are also available for an elevated, relaxing experience. In addition, waxing treatments can be added on during this service if requested!
Bonus feature- Our salon also provides for stylists two pedicure chairs and a manicure table available for desired nail services!
We know you’ll likely be too busy with clients to utilize this next area very often, but our break room has all the amenities you could desire while away from home. Our break room is loaded with tons of storage, a washer and dryer, full size refrigerator and freezer, toaster oven, and kitchen sink!
Parking is never a problem at our business. The indoor and outdoor areas of our salon are monitored with security cameras for the safety and comfort of all.
Aside from all our bougie features. As a unique booth rental salon, we encourage an environment where collaboration is valued. We love to keep our vibes light, positive, and helpful!
