Moxie offers you 8 incredibly talented hair magicians, wax services, a 27 year veteran in the art of all things nails, a massage therapist to rival anyone in town, a holistic Chiropractor in house that keeps all of us feeling healthy mind, body and spirit. She will for a nominal traveling fee. A meditation garden for those of us that need some still time. We aren't your usual salon, we truly care about more than just your appearance

210 Doris Dr. has been a constant friend and teacher for the last 17 years to me and the masses that have worked or been loved there, but if there was ever a time to teach us about survival in fluidity...it is now.
The owner of the building has placed the bones of Moxie up for sale, but the spirit of Moxie lives on in a new location. I'm indebted to said owner for the beautiful journey she afforded me in that location and respect her decision to sell what is hers. I was not "thrown out" or any other negative gossipy lies I'm hearing are being spread, instead, there were lots of tears and support for one another at that meeting so, the watering down of that just to fit a common narrative I won't stand for. Thank you Lakeland and surrounding areas, thank you for 17 years of business at 210 Doris Dr., for your support & love, for your marriages, divorces & children, thank you for trusting me with your kinship, referrals, church/therapy sessions, thank you to EVERY stylist, Dr., tech, specialist & therapist that worked/evolved there.
Thank you in general, it's been a no regrets ride and now I've taken that down the road 3 miles north and will continue that journey just in a different location, a Dixieland location where another owner there has taken her life hits as of late and was thoughtful during that time to think of me during mine and offer me the building behind her gorgeous salon. I'm not a divide and conquer kinda gal so, with that she and I will unite to show love by growing love and working together as small business owners and allies. 1005 S. Fla. Ave is where the new bones of Moxie live. ❤
