After months of planning, painting, and getting everything just right… my treatment studio is officially OPEN! 🩵 I’m still putting some finishing touches and decor up, but I wanted to open the doors to anyone who might need treated!
Whether you prefer the convenience of in-home treatment or the privacy of coming to me, you now have both options.
My goal has always been to make lice treatment as stress-free and judgment-free as possible. If your family ever needs help, I’m here for you.
💙 In-studio appointments
💙 Mobile appointments
💙 By appointment only
The Lice Lady & Co. is proud to serve Lakeland families in the Dixieland area of town!
If I have one soapbox, this is it. 😂
Box lice treatments are outdated, lice have developed resistance to many traditional pesticide treatments, and even when you kill the live bugs—you still have to deal with the eggs.
There’s a reason families tell me, “We treated THREE times and they still have lice.” 😭
Save yourself the frustration. There’s a better way. 📱 call me 😘
— The Lice Lady & Co.
There is absolutely no shame in asking for help. ❤️
Think about it…
We hire babysitters when we need a break.
We pay mechanics to fix our cars.
We call plumbers when a pipe leaks.
We hire house cleaners when life gets overwhelming.
We get our hair cut by professionals.
We see doctors when we’re sick.
We use accountants for our taxes.
We hire photographers to capture special memories.
We order grocery delivery when life gets busy.
So why do so many parents feel embarrassed about getting help with lice?
The truth is, lice don’t care if your house is spotless, your child is well cared for, or how often you wash their hair. They simply spread through head-to-head contact, especially among kids.
If you’ve found yourself up late combing through hair, crying in frustration, or wondering if you’re doing it right, you’re not alone. Sometimes the best thing you can do is let someone who does this every day take it off your shoulders.
No guilt. No judgment. Just help.
If your family ever needs me, I’m here for you. 💙

Let’s be honest… I saw the wood paneling and freaked out a little bit. 😂
But underneath all of that, I knew this space had so much potential.
A little paint, a lot of vision, and it’s finally starting to come together. I still have a ways to go, but seeing this transformation makes me even more excited to open the doors.
I can’t wait to show you the finished space. 🤍✨

It’s not a coincidence that THIS is the first piece of artwork I picked out for my new treatment center.
And that the first thing I’ve put together is a children’s table and chairs.
Do I have a sign? No
Is the painting done? No
Will there be an area for children to play? Yes.
Once a teacher, always a teacher 💕
I HAVE A HOME!!! 😭🩵🔑
The Lice Lady & Co. is officially opening a treatment studio in South Lakeland!
I’ll still be offering limited mobile appointments, but I’m SO excited to finally have a private, comfortable space where families can come for head checks, treatments, and support. 🩵
I seriously cannot believe I’m typing this. 🥹 What started as me driving all over Central Florida helping families has turned into THIS.
More details + opening date coming SOON! 🩵

Okay friends… I’m noticing a pattern this summer 👀
I’ve been doing lice checks at summer camps, and I’m not exaggerating when I say **about 99% of the kids I’m finding lice on are MIDDLE SCHOOLERS.** 😳
So do me a favor… **check your big kids too.**
If they’re scratching or complaining that their head is itchy, don’t automatically assume it’s just sweat, heat, or being outside all day. Yes, it’s summer. Yes, they’re hot and sweaty. But sometimes… it’s lice. 😬
Middle schoolers are still sitting close together, leaning on friends, taking selfies, sharing space, and hanging out head-to-head more than we realize.
Part their hair. Look behind the ears. Check the nape of the neck. And if something looks suspicious, send me a picture or schedule a head check.
Your friendly summer reminder from
The Lice Lady & Co. 💙
**CHECK. YOUR. MIDDLE. SCHOOLERS.** 👏

🔍 One of these things is NOT like the others...
Five nits.
Four are empty egg casings that have already hatched.
One still contains a developing louse.
👀 Can you spot which one is different?
Drop your guess in the comments before you read everyone else's answers!
I'll reveal the answer tomorrow—and explain how I can tell the difference.
