YOU GUYS!! It’s finally airing! For those who know me personally, you know 48 Hours is more than just a TV show to me, it’s something deeply tied to my family. It was our show. Every Saturday night, we’d watch it together, and even in college, I’d come home looking forward to popcorn and 48 Hours with my parents.

You also know I started my first business (The Beauty Box) at 22 and sold it after having kids. I continued with makeup, which is actually where my passion for the beauty world started. After beautifying hundreds of perfect faces, I got a call I never expected…

The director from Paramount+ reached out and asked if I could do hair and makeup for 48 Hours. I honestly almost dropped dead.

A couple months later, I had camera crews, production vans, and producers from New York and California pulling up to my driveway. Not only was I doing hair and makeup for the show, but they also filmed in my house. (yes, my unfinished, toy-filled lower level and all 😅)

Without a doubt, this was one of the coolest experiences of my life. I tried to stay professional, but inside I was completely fan-girling. All I could think about was how proud little Lexi would be of where she ended up. This truly felt like a dream.
