Today, we remember United States Marine Corporal Nicholas G. Xiarhos on what would have been my son’s 35th birthday.
As part of Big Nick’s ‘Give Back’ Weekend, the Nicholas G. Xiarhos Memorial Fund and Big Nick’s Ride for the Fallen will donate $35,000 to a wide variety of groups working hard to help others in need, and host our annual Birthday Blood Drive to help give the Gift of Life in memory of someone who gave his all.

Let’s look at gray blending. My last post was gray coverage but blending is exactly what it sounds like. A much softer grow out with gray still being visible. Grays are definitely NOT a bad thing to have. It’s all up to the client. Some prefer to not see any and some just need that little change to put the “pep back in their step”. The shine is always a crowd pleaser. Plus, the Olaplex 4in1 moisture mask will have you constantly running your hands through your hair. 2023 is all about healthy hair.

Let’s talk about gray coverage vs. gray blending.
Like I always say. Communication is key. Consult with your client. Talk about their daily routine and where their hair fits in. I have many clients who are minimalists when it comes to their hair (no judgement here I promise) and some who will style. I find that many of my blonde clients are trying to blend their grays. The gray coverage is wonderful but the shine and vibrant options with this Redken color line is out of this world. Love Love

We have been missing the sun lately. Well atleast I know I have. I love the way sunlight makes our color look so fresh and vibrant. I am in NO way the best photographer. Indoor exposure can seem a bit flat and one dimensional while the outdoor lighting is more natural and multi-dimensional. We can see more of the lovely undertones and shine OH THE SHINE ✨
