Charlie’s will be donating 25% of sales from the day, and participating vendors are also giving back to help support individuals and families impacted by breast cancer.

Mothers Day.

It’s always been one of our best selling days. We’ve promoted it, and mailed about it, posted about it, and put together the most beautiful curated gifts. This is my second Mother’s Day without my mom. I find myself balancing between thankfulness that I am a mother to four beautiful children who show me they love me every single day and grief that instead of showing up for my own mother, I have to take quiet space with her memory that sometimes feels so empty without her physical presence.

I thought the 2nd year it would be easier. It is not. But I’ll show up anyways and hope as the years go by, I’ll get more excited about it again.

Locals, I’ll be at Savage Tap today, Saturday May 9, 1-4. Stop in, grab a b**r, shop some amazing local vendors for that special Mother’s Day gift, and if you too, are struggling with loss this year, stop by anyways. Sometimes just a hug is the best gift. 💕
