A long overdue shout out to everyone at Sola Salon Belmar for surviving and thriving during our first year! I'm still amazed to be working for myself and loving every minute of it ❤ Finally being able to see my studio neighbors' faces and getting to know them personally, I couldn't ask for a better place to start my journey. Lucky to have this amazing woman in my chair yesterday. Beautiful, both inside and out, and finding out she had just arrived in CO a few days earlier it felt great having a new guest trust me with her hair!

I may work for myself, but I'm still fortunate to be surrounded by amazing salon owners and be a part of the Sola family. Feeling pretty positive these first days of 2021, here's to many more in the weeks and months ahead!

It's been a sad and quiet end to 2020 at home on my own today. Quite unexpectedly, I received a gift in the mail from my son. He chose the inscription himself, I suppose because he know his mom needed a reminder.

Opening Mot's, in the middle of this nonsense year, has been one of the most freeing and most terrifying decisions I've ever made. I am so grateful for those of you who continue to support and believe in me, even when I lose sight of that myself.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

I was lucky enough to start my barber career with Nick, a phenomenally talented master barber that helped stoke my passion for the industry. Even though I missed seeing Nick this weekend, it was great to finally visit out in Centennial. Awesome shop run by one of the best barbershop owners around... besides me of course :)
