Spent today creating perfumes with a wonderful class—and I got the chance to sneak in a little experimenting of my own. 🧪✨
I’ve officially entered my fall + holiday perfume era, and these two little weirdos came out to play:
🍂 Perfume A
Iso E Super • Ambroxan • Hinoki • Amber • Chamomile • Vanilla Woods • Palo Santo • Pomegranate
⭐️Perfume B
Tomato Vine • Smoke • Shea & Rice • Ambroxan
One is warm, woody, slightly sweet and very “something magical is happening in the forest.”
The other smells like someone wandered into the garden, set something on fire, and somehow made it sexy. 😂
Fall perfume season has officially begun at Yates in Leo. 🍁

You survived the thing. Maybe not gracefully. Maybe there were questionable decisions, several “what the actual f**k” moments, and at least one day where you considered simply walking into the woods and becoming folklore.

Two new perfumes are coming with me to the September Art Show. ✨
GOOD OMEN
Vanilla, Rose, Jasmine, Tangerine, Clove, Cedarwood, Patchouli + Geranium.
Warm, floral, earthy and a little spicy. Each bottle holds Tiger’s Eye, Rose Quartz + Clear Quartz because apparently I cannot simply make perfume. There must be tiny rocks involved.
FAMILIAR
Musk, Amber, Caramel, Ambroxan + Galaxy Musk.
Warm skin. Soft sweetness. Amber and musk. The kind of scent that makes you keep smelling your own wrist like a weirdo.
🌿Both are limited editions, made in small batches for the September Art Show.

I ordered the discovery pack from Boyds of Texas, and High Sierra was the immediate winner⭐️
The sample is now completely empty…yet apparently I’m emotionally incapable of throwing it away.
Thankfully, a full bottle is currently making its way to me.
High Sierra: 10/10 fragrance💕
Also apparently 10/10 for creating tiny-vial attachment issues.
Don’t judge me🤣🫠

🔥Ace of Wands
The Ace of Wands is ignition.
It’s a new spark, new idea, opportunity, creative urge, career path, or adventure.

August Perfume Workshop is in full swing. ✨
Bottles are open. Notes are being sniffed. Blends are being tweaked. And everyone is creating something completely their own.
My favorite part is watching an idea slowly turn into their perfume🌿

Fig is home and resting after spending the day with Dr. Bob at the Tremont Animal Clinic.
Her paw laceration was deeper than it looked and it needed internal + external sutures.
