When I have the time, I love using my skills to help elevate women especially my sisters. This time, I got to do hair and makeup for my sister for her branding pictures. During the shoot, I made sure her hair was in place and did minor touch ups as we continued shooting.

Monday Motivation

My first time on beautiful Catalina Island after so many years of living in Southern California. Felt like a whole new country with pretty houses and so many tiny cars.

She chose a pink everything makeup and I love it! I channeled Thai style makeup while doing her application: dewy skin (although | kept it matte as much as | can), barely there contour, highlights, and bright eyes.

My favorite part is that she came with her beautiful skin prep on. Makeup looks so good with a good skin prep.

Join Reiki Master and Sound Healing Practitioner Nancy Xiong of Hono Bono Healing for a restorative community sound healing experience. Using crystal singing bowls, ocean drums, gong, chimes, and vocals, Nancy will create a calming environment that supports deep relaxation, energetic renewal, and inner peace. Many participants find sound healing helps ease stress, restore balance, and cultivate a greater sense of well-being and clarity.

To make the most of your experience, we encourage you to wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or beach blanket, a pillow, and a water bottle. You are welcome to sit or lie down during the session—whatever feels most comfortable for you.

Following the sound healing session, Nancy will gently guide participants through a community lantern float, offering a meaningful opportunity for reflection, release, and renewal.
