I hope we all have this attitude today no matter which side of the aisle we are on. No matter how you’re feeling about who is in office you can ALWAYS be proud to be an American and have respect for that person and hope that they guide the ship well.

I am just as proud today as I was yesterday to be an American, that pride does not hinge upon who is in office. That pride comes from watching Americans rally around our healthcare workers and howl at the moon, from watching teachers try to pour their hearts onto my children even through a screen, from watching individuals raise millions of dollars to help small business, from watching mere children in uniform sleep on the floor of the Capitol resting their heads on marble and machine guns, and so much more.

At the end of my life no one will look back and check to see who I voted for in each election cycle, they’ll remember the way I lived. Let’s live like Americans, not just one of her colors.

Everyone’s favorite ginger from last year wanted to step that vibrancy uppppp and I love it. Every time we do her hair it’s my new favorite hair ever.

I think Zacy said it best “I love that gross delicious lobster stuff!!!”

These little elves deserve a lot of credit. They know that Santa is visiting everyone else’s house tonight. And they know he’s not visiting us.

They know that Santa has agreed to put us at the very end of his flight so we can have Christmas with their dad when he gets off work day after tomorrow and they’re completely fine with waiting the extra night.

Sometimes when Duke is working holidays (multiple multiple years in a row) I can start to have a little pity party for myself because it’s a bummer- just being honest. But then two little elves remind me that it’s actually our little badge of honor to be patient and wait that extra day for that special dude. They’re pretty great.

Last work day before Christmas vibes. Tequila or diesel is fine.
