Some people have told me that they thought Thai Massage is painful. Just like anything, it can, but that's not how it's done here!

When you experience Thai Massage with me, we'll make sure the pressure doesn't get past the "hurts so good" type of sensation to pure pain. We'll also make sure when I get you moving around like in this clip, I'll get you back down safe and slowly πŸ‘

Laundry is one of those for me, but thankfully, it's not the most difficult thing to do!

If you haven't been using your foam roller, this is your sign to start using it more!

Everyone knows how to use it while sitting on it, but you can also roll your body to hit different angles or you can even use the roller against the wall!

Be creative and play with it to hit those areas that always gives you issues πŸ‘

The range of positions and the variety of ways to work on a client is what makes Thai Massage different.

I love the seated position for things like this, but not every client will be able to sit comfortably on the floor. However, we still have face-down, face-up, and side-lying positions to work with!

The ability to be versatile and adapt to different bodies makes Thai Massage something to keep an open mind about πŸ‘

I recently broke the 100 mark for both the number of posts made and followers 😭

It has been slow, and sometimes painful, process to follow through on, but I'm delighted to have kept up and made some progress!

A surprising area of tenderness for many is this area on the side of the ribs.

You can access muscles like the serratus anterior and latissimus dorsi (lats). They are not rotator cuff muscles, but due to their respective attachments into the shoulder blade and the arm, you can bet they're sore from how most people have rounded shoulders.

I recommend rolling or stretching this area out! I'd say don't try it on a soft surface since it doesn't roll well (like in the video πŸ˜…) and a bigger roller might make it easier to roll as well.

This is a nice little accupressure spot for your thumb!

If you are feeling sore around your thumb, this could be a tender spot for you.

Even if you don't work intensively with your hands, things like scrolling through your phone with your thumb can add up! Don't let that tension just keep mounting by giving the area a little massage from time to time.

Ideally, you have some rotational movements incorporated into your exercise and stretch routines.

We move in many different ways, so it's a good idea to train your body to move in different ways.

After all, we want to move with the lowest chance of hurting ourselves from it πŸ‘
