Many would say everyday is a blessing and recognize it as such.

The rest of the people, maybe even most, wake up, brush their teeth, slip on their shoes and head off to their 9-5 never giving much thought to the day.

The fact is that every day is special. Maybe not to everyone…..but guaranteed every single day there are thousands, maybe even millions of people celebrating some sort of achievement… Birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, graduations are just some of the many things that are being acknowledged daily.

Well today is Friday September 29, 2023 and Heirloom Barber and Shave Shop is celebrating 8 truly amazing years in business!

We are humbly honored and thank each and every one of you guys for all of your support! To a life that commands daily celebration….CHEERS!

6 guys and 6 years later, we are more thankful than ever to be able to celebrate another successful year of business.
This past year has definitely brought significant challenges but it has been with the help of our community, our clients, our family members and friends that we have continued to thrive.
We are incredibly blessed to be able to wake up each and every day to go to a place and a job that we love.
Thank you to everyone who has continued to show up for us and despite any challenges we have faced… still sit in our chairs, still purchase products from our shelves and still referred to us as their barbers.

In a world as crazy as the one we are living in at this very moment, there’s are still so many things to be thankful for.

Although we are always thankful for the incredible support from our clients, family, friends and community members all year round, we are particularly grateful that the support has continued to help us thrive in a time where other businesses unfortunately cannot say the same.

UPDATE!

As you may already be aware, Barber Shops have NOT been included on the list of businesses that have been approved to open back up on May 1st.

Trust us, we are just as bummed (if not more) than you are!

We appreciate all of your support and as soon as we are able to open back up, we will provide that update with enthusiasm!

We are looking forward to getting those poles spinning again!

We'd be lying if we said we didn't miss heading into the shop, turning the poles on and watching them spin as we stick the towels in the warmer, set up our tools and get ready for another day of helping our clients looks and feel amazing!

The stay at home order, as you probably are aware has been extended through May 1st. Who knows what will happen as that date gets closer?

What we do know is the amount of gratitude and appreciation that we have to our clients who remain loyal through this all. No, we are NOT doing house calls because we want to make sure we are doing our part to help end this all as soon as possible. We appreciate your understanding. We appreciate every phone call, text message and email from people who are just checking on us or even those of you who have offered to purchase gift cards in advance in a effort to help out. The purchase of gift cards isn't an option right now but please know...

It truly is the thought that counts and means the most to us. On May 1st, it is our goal to be back behind our chairs, with the poles spinning and towels in the warmer, helping the world get back to "normal" one haircut at a time.

Based on the recent Public Health Order from Govenor Mike DeWine, we unfortunately have no other option but to close the Barber Shop until further notice.

We are definitely going to miss seeing the faces of all of our clients and their families. We greatly appreciate your loyalty over the years and look forward to seeing everyone when we are able to open our doors back up.

Attention Barber Shop Patrons -

Based on a major shift in current events, as a responsible partner of the community, we have made the challenging decision to close the shop temporarily.

Because all of us at the shop are self-employed and our financial livelihood depends on our doors being open, we will continually re-evaluate our decision and make changes as necessary.

It is our goal to do our due diligence to help keep our community safe and despite the financial risk, we find that the most responsible thing to do for ourselves, our families and all of you is to close the shop temporarily.

As of now, the shop will only be closed this week (Tuesday, March 17 - Saturday, March 21). We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding and hope that you can see our perspective on why this decision has been made.

Starting March 3, 2020 - another one of our talented barbers will be taking appointments.

Our clients are speaking and we are listening.

We now have all of our chairs full with what we feel are some of the most talented barbers in the area!

On top of that, ALL of them will now be taking appointments which hopefully translates to a better overall shop experience and greater availability for those of you hoping to schedule appointments.

Will we see you on Saturday? This Saturday, Lakewood Alive is hosting their Annual Holiday event “Light Up Lakewood”.
We will once again have a booth set up and will be looking forward to seeing everyone there!
Warm up inside the Masonic Hall and get some of your Holiday shopping done. Gift Cards and Products will be available for purchase on site.

This past Sunday marked 4 years that we have been in business. Time really does fly by. To celebrate, our whole crew took a glass blowing class at The Glass Bubble Project then we hit up the Ohio City Street Festival.

We are forever thankful to all of our clients that help to keep our business going strong. We are thankful for the bond we’ve been able to create as a team through the years that you have allowed us to be your barbers!

We are able to do what we love because you show us so much love in the shop. To everyone that has sat in our chairs, purchased products from our shelves or has just stopped in to say hello, THANK YOU! Cheers to many more years!
