How do these shampoos and conditioners help you maintain your gorgeous blonde hair?

They help maintain the tones as your toner fades until your next appointment.

Silver Brightening Shampoo/Conditioner are SUPER pigmented with ✨purple✨ to help you cancel out any yellow/gold tones. (Color theory y’all 🥰)

Use them as often or as little as you’d like - you’ll get your best results when you start using them just when you’re hair starts to warm up before it’s toooo warm.

You can leave them on or rinse right away, the longer you leave them - the harder they’ll tone.

Just be careful not to use them so much that you’re hair starts to get lavender tones, UNLESS you like that 😍

What about the Blue Debrassing Conditioner?

This one is best used on dark blondes OR BRUNETTES.

Color theory - the blue pigment is going to cancel out and orange/brassy tones.

Again, use it as often or as little as needed!

HOT TIP - IF you’re Platinum blonde, mix the blue debrassing conditioner with your regular conditioner and run it through your hair QUICKLY. It will give you a nice little icy/white kick!

✨COLOR CORRECTION✨

Our biggest request is most often taking clients who are all over brunette and making them VERY blonde.

But why a color correction over a babylight?

While a babylight is a heavy foil and can give you a big change, sometimes it’s just not enough for the full transformation that some clients are hoping for.

It mostly comes down to a matter of how quickly you want the change you’re looking for. You could get the change in a few babylight appts OR you could go all in and just book the color correction - come in a brunette and leave a blonde babe.

When is a color correction best:

✨You want a major change/transformation

✨You have dark hair and want to be as light as possible.

✨You want to be silver/very ashy.

✨You want to be all over platinum.

**always remember that the health of your hair and any previous color always plays a role in your end result.
If you’re hair isn’t healthy enough or you have previous color, lightener can only do so much!

✨BABYLIGHTS✨

While balayage may be our most booked service, probably 75% of the time someone books a balayage, we actually end up doing a babylight.

So what’s the difference between balayage and babylights?

Balayage ultimately is a technique over an actual look or end result.

You may love the lived-in look of a “balayage” but you can also get a “lived-in” low maintenance look with a babylight.

The major difference is that a balayage is hand painted sections that are typically thicker while a babylight is very thin foiled sections.

A balayage will only give you so much lift ultimately. If you want something that’s farther off from your natural hair, you want a babylight!

Those little baby foiled sections lift like a DREAM.

So when does a babylight work best:

✨You want to be majority blonde (NOT ALL BLONDE...we’ll hit that tomorrow)

✨You want dimension that is much lighter than your natural or previously colored hair.

✨You want very ashy toned highlights.
• Ashy tones need to be lifted VERY light to tone out the warmth and really create enough ashiness.

✨You want a dimensional vivid tone - if you’re thinking of playing around with a fun shade, Babylights will give you the lift you need! (See pink hair example)

⚠️ Babylights are NOT for clients who are starting out with ALL OVER natural hair/dark hair and want to be ALL blonde. Tomorrow we’ll discuss why you want to book a color correction for those situations!

✨BALAYAGE✨

Notice what you don’t see in any of these photos - all blonde ends, solid blonde color...(so we haven’t hit the extreme blonding service yet).

So why is a balayage good?

Balayage is great for NATURAL dimension. Either you want to break up your natural hair with some natural highlights or you want some high contrast chunkiness.

The best thing about a balayage is that it’s LOW MAINTENANCE, you could essentially get it done once and let it grow out and it would look great every step of the way!

ALL OVER COLOR - WHAT DOES IT ✨MEAN✨

If you’re booking an all over color with us, this is NOT FOR PLATINUM BLONDES.(We’ll go over all over blonde later this week)

Here are a few examples of when an all over color would work:

✨You have grey you’d like to cover with one solid color all over.

✨You’d like to go darker than what you have currently.

✨You’re happy with how light/dark your current hair is but would like a different TONE (warmer, red, etc).

When in doubt, virtual consultations are always an option to help you figure out what to book!
