Monday was all about getting back to the science behind the color. ✨

We hosted an intimate Stylist-Only, in-salon education class with MILBON, exploring Sophie Stone Color and diving deeper into color theory, formulation, technology, and the science behind creating beautiful, dimensional hair color.

One of our biggest takeaways? One color line with all the tools necessary to create truly customized, beautiful hair color. From gray coverage and blending to dimensional color, tonal changes and personalized formulations, we learned how versatile one color system can be in the hands of an educated stylist.

We worked hands-on with color swatching to see and understand the tones, then put that knowledge into practice with a custom formulation for one of our own stylists—adding another level of color formulation adding depth and dimension while allowing her natural gray to continue growing in beautifully.

What we love about MILBON is the combination of advanced Japanese hair technology, professional color performance, beautiful shine, and a focus on maintaining the integrity and condition of the hair.
