I don’t typically do weddings, but the few times I have agreed, I’m always so thankful and honored I did. Maybe one day I’ll open myself up to that opportunity; as someone who wore their hair straight for their wedding, I understand entirely the lack of a stylist who can formally style curly hair.

Last month she got a big chop(see slide), this month was her first time getting color so why not go BIG. It was such a honor and a humbling color appointment. Never have I had a client choose their hair color for the purpose of being her closer to her creator. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖

And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17

💐 I hope all the women in a mothering role will feel loved, seen, and appreciated today and always. You give your all, but it can feel like it’s never enough. I want you to know that you are doing a great job! You’re a great mom who’s doing her best. You were created to be in the lives of the little people you care for, and no one could do a better job for your family than you.
✨If this day is difficult for you, I see you. I remember years of not wanting to leave the house on this day and hating everything about it. My heart hurts for you, and my family and I pray for healing and comfort for all the women who may be hurting right now. May we all take a moment to love and appreciate ourselves this Mother’s Day.

Sometimes, I miss my pixie days. But then I remember it took three years for my hair to grow long enough to do a high puff. So, I live vicariously through my clients.

Seriously?!? 🤯 I knew she had gorgeous curls, but this even surprised me!
