A little over 9 years ago I made the decision to open my own business. 9 years later and I have absolutely no regrets for that decision! I really can’t even believe 9 years has gone by! This is only ever possible due to my wonderful clients and also my friends and family who guided me and help support me along the way! Happy 9 Years to A SHEAR WORK OF ART!!! 🥳

Happy 6th Anniversary for A Shear Work Of Art!!! I say this every year and I can’t believe how quickly time goes by! WOW 6 YEARS!! I am definitely at a better place this year than a year ago when I was shut down due to covid! I’m so thankful for all my wonderful customers, if it weren’t for all of you this wouldn’t be possible! Hello dear clients! I’m receiving word Lancaster County is moving to green next Friday! The State Board released there requirements and regulations for salon reopening. I should have all the necessary requirements by next Friday, so I will be able to open then! Please contact me to schedule appointments! Please be patient with me as the “new” way of operating will be different! I know a lot of you are in desperate need and I’m going to do my best to get you all in as soon as I can 😁!!

Dear Clients,
I hope all of you are doing well...considering the circumstances! I miss you all terribly!
Just for some clarifications; as of now they will not be allowing salons to open until our county has reached the green stage. With another stay at home order being extended to June 4th, it looks as though they do not foresee us moving to the yellow stage until at least then. At this rate it seems like best case scenario of looking at July for reopening? As you know things change on a daily/weekly schedule.
Multiple bills are trying to be pushed through Congress as well as townships fighting for rights to allow businesses to reopen! So I will be continuing to stay as up to date for any possible changes!
I am thankful my overhead is low and I DO NOT foresee having to close my doors permanently because of this! Small businesses are being hit extremely hard by these closures and as much as they like to talk up help that is being provided, that certainly is NOT the case! They have made it EXTREMELY hard for us self-employed small businesses owners to get help of any kind! But, I am making through as I hope all of you are! We will come out of this stronger together!!

Well today is bitter sweet....definitely a little more bitter! Today is my 5 year anniversary at my salon! This is not how I imagined celebrating 5 years of business. However I am so grateful to all my clients who made this possible! I will be so thankful when I can open my door again, I’m sure my clients will be thankful too because I’m sure your all feeling a little unkept by now! Love to all my wonderful clients I hope you are staying healthy and safe! ❤️

With the latest extension of the stay at home order to April 30th, it looks as though I will be closed at least until then. All appointments upcoming in April will be canceled until further notice. I will be in touch when I am able to open. Stay safe and stay healthy!
