This was a fun one today !
She has been debating for months between staying blonde or going back to the dark side to give her hair a break from lightening but every time she would sit in my chair she would decide she wasn’t ready, which is completely relatable!

Nothing feels better than that fresh blonde ! (but I may be a little biased 🤷🏼‍♀️😂)

I’ve been warming her up to the idea of dragging the roots out and doing some teasy lights + a face frame to give her a more lived-in look while also keeping her bright!

Today was finally the day! ✨

The best of both worlds; getting to stay nice and bright while requiring less maintenance in the future !

Babylights to blend her grown out roots back into her blonde ends. 💁🏼‍♀️

Babylights can be time consuming but are my preferred method as they give the brightness of a traditional highlight up to the root while also ensuring an easy grow out!

Loving all this bright hair for the spring season ! 🌻

This was definitely a fun one since I haven’t gotten to use this technique in quite sometime! She had a completely blank canvas to start from and I took full advantage! ❤️

A little spooky split color from back in the fall 🎃

Hair tinsel to add some sparkle ✨

Reverse balayage to minimize the amount of upkeep + to give her hair a break from lightener for awhile due to past damage.

Also, The wind was not cooperating today 🙃

Teasy lowlights equal parts of 6/77 + 5/0 + pastel in color touch. A slight balayage w 10vol to brighten the ends.
