Iām Laura Raybourneāpart French elegance, part Irish grit, and fully devoted to helping you feel your natural best. I believe wellness doesnāt have to be complicated or trendy. Itās about returning to the basics: natureās rhythm, real nourishment, and everyday grace. My path started in the medical lab, where I studied the science of the body. But it was life on the farmāand my own health journeyāt

Every morning starts the same way⦠boots on, a quiet walk up to the barn, and a full cast of characters already waiting on me.
The guineas are squawking like theyāre announcing my arrival to the entire county⦠the ducks are chatting⦠chickens clucking⦠cats weaving around my legs⦠goats lined up like Iām late to their morning meeting⦠and Miss Dee, of course, fully expecting her daily massage before I do anything else.
Everyoneās got their expectations⦠food, treats, attention⦠and apparently I am the entire morning staff. š
And me? Iām on a mission to gather breakfast.
Itās become one of my favorite rhythms⦠walking up to collect my breakfast for the day instead of pulling it from a shelf.
But it hasnāt been without its lessons.
Last fall, we had a weasel pay us a visit and it wiped out eight of our chickens just like that. Farm life has a way of humbling you real quick. So now weāre down to one big hen and one little bantam⦠which means breakfast each morning is a bit of a surprise.
Some days itās one medium and one tiny egg⦠some days itās a āwell, weāre stretching this todayā kind of morning.
And then⦠today.
I reached into the nesting box and just smiledā¦
Two large eggs and one small.
The motherlode.
Itās funny how something so simple can feel like such a win⦠but thatās the beauty of this life. You start to notice, appreciate, and celebrate the little things in a whole new way.
I just love life on our little mini farm⦠chaos, critters, surprises and all.
Do you have a simple daily rhythm that grounds you like that?

I've been working on a few new pieces lately...and I don't know which one I love more š
Some days it's NingXia Red and feeling good from the inside out...and other days it's just a good reminder that recharging (or winging it) is completely allowed.
Life doesn't always have to be all or nothing...sometimes it's just small, simple things that help us feel a little more like ourselves again.
If you want a peek at the full collection (more loading soon), I tucked it in the comments.

I added a few more pieces into my Etsy shop today⦠and this one has quietly become my favorite.
Itās my Breathe bracelet⦠a simple little reminder I didnāt realize I needed until I started wearing it.
Thereās something about having that small pause right on your wrist⦠especially on days that feel a little full.
I also added a few other stone options that each carry a slightly different feel⦠calm, steady, grounded⦠whatever you might need more of right now.
If youāve been curious what Iāve been working on behind the scenes, you can take a look hereā¦

Something we donāt always think aboutā¦
The body is communicating all day long.
Tiny messages moving from one place to another.
Signals being sent.
Responses happening.
You donāt have to think about it.
It just happens.
And part of that communication depends on whether something āfits.ā
Like a key fitting into a lock.
If it fits⦠the message gets through.
If it doesnāt⦠nothing happens.
Over the next few weeks, Iām going to start sharing a very simple way to understand how this works⦠and how plants can support that communication.
Because the body was designed to recognize more than we realize.
Have you ever noticed your body respond to something in a way you couldnāt quite explain?
03/22/2026
You may have noticed itās been a quiet week here.
No posts⦠no updates⦠just a little pause.
Last week was fuller than usual for me. More going on, more movement, more demand on my time and energy.
And instead of trying to push through it or keep up with everything, I chose to practice what I share here.
I slowed down.
I took care of what needed my attention.
And I gave myself a little more space.
Thatās part of calm living too.
Not just routines and rhythms when life is steadyā¦
but listening when your body asks for something different.
Weāre often taught to stay consistent no matter what.
But the body doesnāt always need more effort.
Sometimes it needs a little more support.
A little more rest.
A little more understanding.
So if youāve had a week where things didnāt go as planned⦠youāre not behind.
You might just be listening better.
Iām glad to be back here with you.

Calm Living Reflection
One quiet realization many women have in midlife is this.
The body was never the enemy.
For years, many of us were taught to push through.
Push past tiredness.
Ignore tension.
Keep going no matter what.
But the body was always communicating.
Fatigue.
Restlessness.
Digestive discomfort.
Tension in the shoulders.
A shorter fuse than usual.
Those are not character flaws.
They are messages.
When we slow down enough to listen, the body often responds with more kindness than we expected.

A lot of women are not looking for more noise.
They are looking for steadiness.
That is one reason I care so much about small calming tools and simple daily supports.
Sometimes that looks like changing the scents in your home.
Sometimes it looks like a small pause ritual.
Sometimes it is a helpful guide that gives you a place to begin.
I love tools that make calm feel tangible and doable.
That might be a simple plant-based product.
A quiet home ritual.
An aroma stone from my Etsy shop.
Or one of the free resources I keep linked for people who want to learn more.
Support does not always have to be dramatic.
Sometimes it just needs to be gentle and consistent.
If you have been quietly curious, the link in my profile is there for you.

Plant Wisdom Wednesday
Have you ever noticed that different plants seem to carry a different tone?
Some feel bright.
Some feel grounding.
Some feel soft and calming.
That is not just imagination.
Plants contain different aromatic compounds, and those compounds create different scent experiences in the body.
Lemon feels fresh and lively.
Lavender feels soft and settling.
Peppermint feels cool and awakening.
Different plants.
Different chemistry.
Different signals.
Plant wisdom does not have to be complicated.
Sometimes it begins by simply paying attention to what you smell and how your body responds.
Have you ever noticed certain plant scents affect your mood or energy differently?
My guineas are basically Irish comedians with feathers.
They woke up with a plan this morning.
Iām not sure they remembered what the plan wasā¦
but they were very committed to it.
