If you know me, you know my forties started with a bang! First with a major ankle surgery that put me on bed rest for 6 months, see the crazy FRANKIN-FOOT below😳.
At 41 I had my second son, while the most amazing blessing, it nearly cost me my life....twice first with losing half the blood in my body while in emergency C-section and then after coming home having my sodium drop to a level that landed me in the ICU for 2 weeks.
FABULOUS in your Forties looks life in the eyes, and takes the bull by the horns! Fabulous in your Forties means I'm grateful to be alive and grateful for all the love and support from my family and friends!
FABULOUS means, we see mountains, and climb them. We've grown our all women's painting company by over 180%, my beautiful 9 month old boy is moments away from reaching a new milestone: walking on his own, and my health and well-being are better than ever!
The past two years have been not only challenging but extremely rewarding, pushing me further than I ever thought possible mentally, physically and emotionally.
Whether it was climbing scaffolding at 6 months pregnant to push our business further or spending the precious first weeks of my newborns life away from him, in the ICU, I learned to endure the pain, push through the struggles and cherish all the beautiful moments life has to offer.
Every day is a gift and I push myself harder every day to be better than the last, but still being grateful for every breath, not knowing when it will be your last.
As a mom of 2 boys, a military wife, a small business owner and a proud powerhouse women's advocate, my plate is always full but it doesn't stop my powerful hunger for life, love and the pursuit of happiness!
