As most of our clients know I (Jamie) started and graduated from a Medical Assisting program. My externship through that program led me to Isaiah House in Harrodsburg. Where I currently work the outpatient program and work as needed at the womens center while I am pursuing my nursing license. I along with some of my colleagues are hosting a Banana Split Bar and Karaoke Night for the women at the Shelley Center Friday the 9th. First Southern Bank and The River Foundation graciously donated the money for all the food and drinks and now we are looking for donations to give as “door prizes”.
Addiction has hit all of our families in one way or another and I have really felt led to help and encourage these women. If you would like to help support this event with support, encouragement and love, I ask you to give! We are asking for donations of the following items or monetary donations to purchase these items. All items or donations can be dropped off at our salon or I can pick up. I also have venmo and cash app on request…

I guess I should let everyone know that I’m going to be off work another month at least. I reinjured my hand over Memorial Day weekend. She initially couldn’t see a fracture, but after repeat X-rays this past week & a slightly different lateral view…it’s def fractured…again. I know, I know— I need bubble wrap. Prayers, good thoughts, & healing vibes are appreciated. 😊

Send me a text if you need a referral to another hairdresser in the meantime. My U Got The Look girls are pretty slammed, but I’ve been in contact with a couple of gals outside of my shop who are willing to help out while I’m healing. Also if you have someone else you want to see lmk and I’ll send my color recipe with you. Love you all and miss you! 🫶

I’m slowly getting you all scheduled. After seeing PT last week, we’ve decided that I should start back half time. If I haven’t gotten in touch already, I will be in the next week or so. If you need me before those for a specific time, day, etc. PLEASE reach out! I don’t want to inadvertently mess up!
