Keel’s door never really closes on someone.

If you’ve stepped foot in here, or simply found yourself here during a season of your life—you’ve been a part of Keel.

And more than likely, you’re always welcome back.

Unless Keel told you not to come back. Then… probably listen.

I’ve never experienced a salon that flows quite like this one. The flexibility. The understanding. The compassion. The way people are allowed to be human between these walls while still being pushed to grow.

We do really good hair here. Obviously.

But Keel has never just been about hair.

And if you’re fortunate enough to cross paths with someone who has been a Keel baddie at some point, I hope you see a little piece of what we try to build here in them too—confidence, individuality, knowledge, kindness, backbone.

People will grow here. People will grow beyond here. New people will walk through these doors and leave their own mark.

If there’s one person who truly embodies the meaning behind KEEL salon’s name, it’s you. Our name comes from the keel of a ship… the backbone beneath the surface that provides balance, stability, and direction. Lauren, you are the keel of this salon.

You have poured your blood, sweat, tears, countless hours, and so much of your heart into creating this space. You’ve built more than just a salon; you’ve built a place where talented, strong, and completely unique stylists can come together, grow, create, and be exactly who they are.

We may not all look the same, or move through life the same… but you’ve created a space where that is celebrated. You are the support system that keeps this place grounded, the person who helps guide us forward, and the heart behind so much of what makes this salon feel like home.

I hope today you realize just how many lives you’ve impacted and how much of yourself you’ve poured into the people and the space around you. We are so lucky to have you as our backbone.
