The last two weeks have been such a whirlwind. As most of you know, my mom has been battling with terminal stomach cancer for over a year. I am saddened to say she lost her battle on December 7th. I am devastated, but I also find comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain.

If you have reached out and I have not responded please know that I will get back to you soon. I am doing my best to get clients rescheduled while also trying to get clients in who just needed an appointment. As you know the holidays are already a crazy time in the salon so please know I will do my best to accommodate everyone.

✨ Why I Started My Business ✨

Last year, my world was turned upside down. I lost someone who was such an important part of my family at just 44 years old to terminal cancer. He fought bravely for 15 months but left behind a beautiful family who loved him deeply. Just 35 days later, I received the shocking news that my mom had been diagnosed with the exact same cancer—and hers had already spread.

To say I was in shock and was spiraling is an understatement. In the middle of all this heartbreak, Allure Salon Group started following me on Instagram. Something about it felt like a sign. Within two weeks, I made the decision to take a leap of faith—open my own business, follow my dream of being my own boss, and be closer to my parents’ house so I could be there whenever they needed me.

Looking back, that time still feels like a blur. The first month was an emotional rollercoaster—grieving, processing change, and fearing the unknown for my mom. But through it all, my clients became an unexpected source of strength. Whether they realized it or not, their support lifted me up in ways I’ll never forget.

Over this past year, I’ve grown in ways I didn’t know I was capable of. I’ve learned I am stronger, more resilient, and that life isn’t about chasing a paycheck—it’s about connection, love, and making time for what truly matters.

I’m grateful to say my mom is doing well, all things considered. I’ve always admired her, but this past year I’ve seen a side of her strength and grace that inspires me daily.

Today, October 3rd marks ONE YEAR in business, and to honor this milestone I will be making a donation to Fox Chase Cancer Center in memory of my dear friend Jeff Tomczak and in honor of my mom.

None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of my husband, my kids, and my amazing clients. You have all helped me more than you’ll ever know, and I am forever thankful.
