nothing beats healthy curls. so what keeps your curls healthy?
-the right wash day routine. clarifying shampoo 2-4 times a month. washing with a moisturizing shampoo 1-3 times a week (the less the better, depending on lifestyle and oil production.) using a hair mask once a week.
-using leave in conditioners and oils/serums as a regular part of your hair care routine.
-avoiding excessive heat, and always using heat protectant.
-silk or satin pillowcase, bonnets, scrunchies. The less friction on your hair the better.
-proper detangling
-regular trims (about every 3 months)
