I've had a lot of people reaching out asking how I'm doing since I've been quiet on the posting lately.
Most of you know I developed a second tumor while on chemo.
Since then, I've switched down to U of M.
It's a long drive and a longer day. But I'm hoping a worth while one.
Chemo is still going on and will be until doc says done. They are not giving me a end date. As long as its shrinking and working and nothing new is growing. I'm getting chemo. Which is good and bad. But at least this combo is working.
Carbo and Gemzar are a pretty tough chemo. Apparently, my doc informed me I'm the new trial that several other doc and hospitals are following. I already have had a delay due to the high dose I'm getting. The other chemo just kicked my white blood counts and a shot to re-boost. Not with this. Carbo kills off white, red and platelets. Neuropathy is very high with this one too. As well as insomnia and ultra fatigue. Oh and the best. You can lose your finger nail and toe nails. (Great). There's plenty more but these are the biggest. But if it's killing the tumors or shrinking. I guess it's a small price to pay. So far they are thrilled with how well I've been handling treatment. Doc loaded me full of chemo to start. And now we're trying to drop it down. So the delay with low platelets was anticipated. And of course I got all the side effects with low platelets. Bruises, little bumps, bags under my eyes. And mild confusion and shortness.

So! That being said. I am still trying to work as much as I can. I have good days and not so good days. Some days I'm slower than normal and run behind yes, more than normal. cause sometimes I can't feel my fingers. And I have days I drop a lot of stuff. And we all know I'm just a late person. Lol
I am working less due to chemo in Ann Arbor on wed. Not any other options for times and dates. So my schedule is constantly changing. And will be. I don't know from every two weeks if my counts are good or I'm delayed. I'm trying my best to get everyone in and do all I can. But I do get tired more than ever.
I maybe having to change up my schedule to a few more shorter days.

I may be behind. I may drop stuff. But I'm truely trying to continue to do my job and give each and everyone of you the time and service you deserve. And I appreciate your patience and loyalty.

I will continue to work as long as I can. When the time comes. I will be referring all my clients to different stylist in the Salon I think that will best fit you and your needs. Until that time. Your stuck with me. And Thank you.

Most of you know that I'm still working my butt off as normal. However, my brain and remembering who's called or texted is HORRIBLE. PLEASE do not think I forgot you or am ignoring you. I'm just very chemo brained. If you don't hear from me or the Salon. Please please. Text me or call the shop. Not one of you is bugging me! If I'm delayed in answering you. Please remind me!
I'm doing all I can do. But, I'm very forgetful. I appreciate more than you know all the love and support that all of you provide right now. You are all still my normal. Thank you so much for being on this journey with me and still being my clients through this. 💞❣️💞
