I do not make it a habit to post personal issues on Facebook but I have reached my limit. I just want to say to all the families that go out of their way and are there for each other, Kudos to you.
It’s days like today that I miss my mom and I miss Jeannie. (Who I always referred to as my second mom)They were both women that showed what it meant to love and be there for family or anyone that needed help. They were never too busy.
I am appalled by the lack of love, concern, care, interest, availability, and apparently I could go on, and on from people that are actually family. I have never seen anything like this in my life. I talk to a lot of people on a daily basis, so I hear the awesome stories of how families drop everything for a loved one, and I hear the stories of how families aren’t there for each other. But my story takes the cake. I’ve worked very hard to not let the anger consume me and to take back my power. That is the most important thing for my well-being.
I wonder what lies they tell themselves so that they can sleep at night. Or maybe some have to drink an extra beer or two. Whatever the case may be, they have to live with this. By the way “I’ve been so busy” is bu****it. You have zero idea what “busy” is.
My circle has become very small, but I prefer it that way, because I only want people who truly care to be in it.
We’ve heard this all before many many many times hug your loved ones, say yes to dinner and don’t take the people you love for granted.
Whether it is a heart attack, stroke, mental health break tomorrow is not promised. This is a reminder for all of us.
Thank you for those that do care and do show up. I am forever grateful and could not have done this without you.
Also, I am heartbroken and forever grateful for Justin. By the way, to those of you that can’t be bothered by how a family member is doing or how they are dealing with this, 😡 you should be ashamed. For real.
One last thing. If you need anything or someone to help with something I will do everything I can to be there for you.

I am 3 months 4 days Post Op from Rotator Cuff surgery. Today I was discharged from Physical Therapy. I am going to go on a maintenance program because there are so many exercises I can do at Peak Performance that I can’t do at home.
I am so thankful for my PT guys Joe and Mark at Peak Performance. Music to my ears being told that I Rocked it. 💪🏼👍🏼👏😁💜
I’ll find out Monday how soon I can use a golf club.

Calling all Nail Techs. This is happened to me on more than one occasion, different colors and different different clients. Can anybody relate to this? In case the pictures don’t do it justice this was a pink color from the new OPIcollection Blame the Mistletoe. And as you can see, it’s faded to orange and yellows.

Today I saw my surgeon. And no more brace for me. I am where I need to be as far as my range of motion. I still have a lot of work to do. 💪🏼😁I go back to work Thursday. Oh!!! I can drive!!!!! Yay me!!!!

Here is another update. Sorry should’ve done one sooner. Those that know what I’m talking about when I say I meant it when I was going to check out. I feel that I have accomplished that very well. So this is four weeks and two days. Overall, I feel like the recovery has gone really well. Considering all the hype and all the suggestions and input I feel it’s gone extremely well. PT is hard and every time I go they add a little bit more. Some of it feels like it it will be impossible, but each day gets a little easier. It’s a little scary to think that I will be going back to work in two weeks, well just under, and there are things that I just cannot do.
The time has flown by, but I am starting to think about work again. Miss all of my clients very much. I see my surgeon on December 11, I’m pretty confident that she’s going to release me but we shall see.
