The story behind the Christmas Snowflake bar? A client asked if we could make another Christmas themed bar with red and green in the mix. No problem- we took some bits of previous produced red and green bars and dropped them into a peppermint scented batter. Cut on day two and added a sliver snowflake stamp into the center of the bar. Turn any sink in your home into a royal situation with these bars we just completed: Pardi Gras.

We first starting producing these bars back in 2022 with the goal of having a sweet scent similar to the smell of King Cake( a nice treat associated with the Carnival/Mardi Gras season). However, contents of the scent we were using- which contained vanilla- kept turning the bars darker.

This time we are going with a lemon chiffon scent- still sweet- but no discoloration expected.

You can get your Pardi Gras bars beginning this Friday at Lantana Soap Company!

Big thanks to our long time customer Heather in Aubrey, Texas for placing this order! We will be delivering 2 each our Peppermint Coconut, Eucalyptus, Soap No. 1, and Goodness bars. She also added 3 bars of the Joy bar which has been a holiday favorite since 2020. A solo Aloe Cucumber bar along with 4 exfoliating soap bags completes this order. We will update our website - Lantanasoapcompany.com with new selections and updated inventory just in time for the holiday season!

Big thanks to our neighbor Barry! His wife loves our Peppermint Coconut Bars. He typically orders 4 bars for her, so we like to keep them in stock.

We also added a bonus bar: Our Mardi Gras/New Orleans themed “Pardi Gras”, which has been getting a positive response.

Our “Pardi Gras” bar is back!

Carnival season is here (January 6-March 4) ending on Mardi Gras. We have made this bar the last 3 years for all of our customers who may have connections to Louisiana or just love Mardi Gras.

This bar features a sweet vanilla cake like lemon scent with specks of gold, purple, and green(Mardi Gras colors) scattered throughout the bar. Once cut, gold mica is placed on to gold fleur-de-lis stamp and placed into the middle of the bar.

Just like our other bars at Lantana Soap Company, Pardi Gras is made from scratch with quality ingredients. These bars will be distributed between our website and our store in Lewisville. If anyone is interested, let us know and I will make sure there are enough bars for locals.

Bars take about 2-3 weeks to cure.

Two years ago today:

We sent out our last soap shipments yesterday.
One of them is for our former neighbor Donna, who now lives on a farm in Arkansas.

She asked us to make a Fight Club bar for her husband as a Christmas gift. We didn’t have our typical classy labels for that particular bar- which references the classic film staring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton Jr. The film features a group of men participating in underground/questionable extracurricular after work activities 😆, so I decided to wrap the bars in sandwich bag.

In the bag, the product looks questionable- kind of like something you’d purchase in the stadium parking lot before you walk in to see The Grateful Dead, Willie Nelson, or Snoop Dogg in concert.

Having fun.
