The Urschel Family Farm

Day 1 in the bag! I am so proud of both of my junior does, Jemimah and Lyra. It's crazy to think this was Lyra's first ever show because she acted like a pro! Seeing all of these dairy goats together is so amazing and I look forward to what day 2 has in store! 🐐🩵

I am so incredibly proud of how far this dairy program has come! From 2 exhibitors to a whole row of stalls reserved for dairy in the goat barn! Come see us at the fairgrounds from 4-8pm on thursday for family night. We had a great time at Albany County Fair 2026. It was amazing to see the whole TUFF crew together again, including the does that we sold this year. They all did fantastic! Joya was shown by my good friend, Sara Grussendorf, and won best doe in show, best udder, and champion senior doe. Pip won reserve doe in show and reserve senior doe. Jemimah was a little bit nervous for her debut, but did great in the show pen. She won champion junior doe and first in her class! Thank you so much to the other exhibitors and everyone involved with the dairy show today for continuing to grow our dairy goat community! 🩵🐐

Sorry for the radio silence lately! Our smallest triplet was having some trouble, so she need our full attention, but I am happy to report she is growing stronger every day and is the best house goat anyone could ask for! She loves our senior dog, Zuki and is definitely the most adventurous out of the bunch! Shout out to my mom, who has helped me keep up with little girls routine bottle feedings and has been my support through this stressful event! 🐐🩵
