The 6 strand Reata I’m making for the IFOLG show finished right at 51 feet. Probably stretch another couple feet during the finishing process.
This rope will be for sale if anyone is interested in a show quality Reata.

Sharing the art of Rawhide Braiding~

This is the traditional art of Rawhide Braiding. This craft was first introduced by the Spanish Vaqueros and later used by early American cowboys to make the ropes and horse gear needed for their work. Rawhide is generally made from cow, although many other types of hides could be used as well.
