And I’m not even saying that from a bitter place. It’s actually made me appreciate the people who DO support me that much more.

Thank you to the guy who fired me during the pandemic. 😂 Because had it not been for you, I probably would’ve never picked up those tweezers.

And no, this was not some cute little “I decided to follow my dreams” moment. 😂 I had bills to pay. I needed to make money. So one way or another, we were gonna figure it out.

I picked up the tweezers and started lashing.

Then I just… never stopped trying to get better.

I practiced. I watched. I learned. I messed up. I figured out what worked for me. I started paying attention to the tiniest details and eventually realized I wasn’t just doing lashes anymore… I genuinely loved the art behind it.

And now when I look back at those first few years, it makes me emotional. 🥹 Because I can actually SEE all the time I put into this. I can see where I started, when things started clicking, when I found my style, and how much I’ve really honed in on my craft.

There was never one big moment where I suddenly became “good.”

It was just years of giving a s**t about what I do.

And I think that’s the part I’m most proud of.

I still want to learn. I still want to get better. I still look at my own work and think about what I could do differently next time. 😂

So I say all that to say…

The time is going to pass anyway.

You might as well spend it getting really fn good at what you do. ✨
