It has been a very entertaining couple of days 🤣

A little bit of backstory… This first time client called in on a Saturday, and happened to have an opening. As soon as she walked in, the vibes were off, and the client immediately started being rude. Taylor remained polite, and still attempted to assure the client that she would be able to take care of her. When she left to mix up her color, the client pulled out her own bottle of alcohol and proceeded to pour herself a drink. It was at that point that Taylor came up to me, explaining the situation, and was visibly uncomfortable.

She was not in the salon for more than five minutes before she was asked to leave. It is definitely not one of my favorite aspects of salon ownership, but as I’ve told my stylists in the past, we have to maintain our boundaries, even if our voice shakes.

99% of our clients are the most wonderful people who we genuinely enjoy taking care of, but there will always be the 1% that takes us by surprise. Disrespect will never be tolerated (and not to mention the legal implications of having hard alcohol on the premises)… I will always have their back.
