New website will launch on September 12, 2025!

After about a year's long hiatus, I'm back to soap making just in time for the holidays! Whoo hoo. I'm still healing, but optimistic.

I have a couple of events lined up, but will mostly be offering these wonderful salon quality soaps online! As they come into the cure stage, they will be listed.

I continue to learn new features with the Shopify platform that will support my business model such as offering bundled products.
I relaunched the brand once again. LOL! I know, but you keep looking until you find what fits.

My paternal grandmother made soap, but it was a harsh lye heavy soap apparently as my father seems to have unpleasant memories of his mom's soap.

Her family came from Germany and her maiden name in German translates to the Valley of Joy! Hence, Joy Valley REALLY hit home as a business name and one that reflects my Joy when I use natural soaps.

The soaps I have created are very different from our grandmothers' soaps. We have sophisticated tools that didn't exist in their time that helps us create nourishing soaps instead of skinning you alive soaps. LOL!

I'll get better at... well, a lot of things in the future with this venture. There's such a difference from when I started making soaps to the nourishing and soothing soaps produced now.

My early recipes were good. I enjoyed them. My recipes now have expanded with knowledge and time to produce a quality salon soap for home use. You can feel and smell the Joy in the shower!

More later... Website launch on September 12, 2025. Can't wait to keep being creative with butters and maybe candles!

After several attempts at changing this pages name, and FB not cooperating, I decided to create a new page and start fresh! Unfortunately, that means I'll loose you guys, eventually.

Hey, soap enthusiasts and loyal customers! 👋 It's been a while since I last shared an update, and let me tell you, it's been quite a journey. Life threw some unexpected twists my way, but I'm back, stronger and more determined than ever!

Professional Rollercoaster:
So, I dove into the corporate world, navigating the challenges of a new position. I poured my heart into creating an effective project management tool, only to face an unexpected hurdle—layoffs. Six months in, my position was eliminated, and it hit hard. But, as they say, when one door closes, another one opens.

Nakee Soaps Evolution:
In the midst of job hunting, I decided to focus on what truly lights up my days: crafting exquisite soaps. And thus, Nakee Soaps is undergoing a metamorphosis! Yes, I've been tweaking my soap recipe, infusing it with the goodness of goat milk and experimenting with new natural additives. The result? Silky smooth, heavenly scented soaps that pamper your skin with gentle kindness.

Rebranding Adventures:
A lesson learned: Choosing a business name is like committing to a journey. Despite wanting growth, sometimes the name doesn't fully capture the essence. Say hello to Nakee Soaps – a name that reflects not just soap but an experience. Yes, rebranding isn't a walk in the park, but it's a step toward aligning the business with its true identity.

What's on the Horizon:
2024 is shaping up to be a year of excitement! I'm on the lookout for a new professional challenge, striving for that perfect balance of passion and income. Simultaneously, I'm working on a spanking new website for Nakee Soaps, giving it the makeover it deserves.

Soap Innovations Await:
Hold onto your seats, soap aficionados! The soap laboratory is buzzing with activity as I craft and test a new recipe. Expect the signature goat milk magic but with added allure—making your skin sing with joy. And that's not all! Brace yourselves for unique combination fragrances born out of my love for experimentation and chemistry.
