I love getting to switch up my week by sprinkling in a here and there! Sophia was so nervous, because she does her eyeliner a VERY particular way and didn’t want to offend me if she didn’t like how I do it. Girl, SAME 🤣🤣 I HATE other people doing my liner. I told her I’d let her hold the mirror while I did it (after lots of questions about her preferences), and that she could ask for the brush at any point if needed. Well, she never asked for the brush and visibly relaxed once the liner was done! Communication and mutual respect is important in these moments, because makeup is so personal. Simply creating a space where someone feels comfortable with their preferences can ease a lot of tension in the room!
