When my client Karina booked me as her Las Vegas makeup artist, she was drawn to the soft glam looks in my portfolio. For her Las Vegas elopement, she wanted something natural and polished with a slightly more editorial feel for her photos.
The goal was simple: fresh, glowing skin, soft definition and makeup that enhanced her features without overpowering them.
The Look
For the complexion, I kept the skin luminous and lightweight, adding coverage only where needed. Cream bronzer and blush added warmth and dimension, while softly layered powders helped set everything and give the makeup longevity.
For her eyes, I chose soft mauve tones to complement her blue eyes and add subtle definition. Instead of a full strip lash, I cut Ardell Beauty 420 lashes in half and concentrated them on the outer corners for a little extra lift without taking away from the natural feel of the makeup.
I finished the look with softly sculpted lips and a glossy n**e-pink finish with MAKEUP BY MARIO & Thrive Causemetics
The result was natural soft glam with a polished, editorial touch enough definition to photograph beautifully while still allowing Karina to look and feel like herself.
