Today I stood in front of my peers at the Rural Entrepreneurship Symposium and owned my story. What started as a dream has become a mission.

I shared my research on building a purpose-driven entrepreneurship ecosystem in Pahrump, Nevada, a model designed to create opportunities for women, survivors, foster youth, veterans, and others seeking a pathway to economic independence.

My story is proof that your past does not define your future. Every challenge I’ve faced has helped shape a vision bigger than myself: creating education, entrepreneurship, and hope for others.
Today wasn’t just about presenting research.

It was about sharing purpose.
It was about representing Pahrump.
It was about showing what’s possible when we turn pain into purpose and purpose into impact.

30 years later… and God is still writing my story. 🙏🏾🎓✨

From graduating from Ralph McKee Vocational & Technical High School in Staten Island, New York in June 1996… to earning my MBA from California State University in 2020 during one of the hardest seasons in history.

Although COVID-19 prevented me from walking across the stage in 2020, it could not stop the journey, the sacrifice, the growth, or the accomplishment. 💫

Today, Dr. Browne is still in progress. 📚✨
A first-generation woman from Bo, Sierra Leone, West Africa, continuing the journey toward a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree with a mission bigger than herself.
