I don’t even know what life is, if not for good friends who have become my family, my tribe. Two of my best girlfriends were brought into my life through Body Temple, and I continue to meet amazing souls everyday through this healing space. I opened this space as a labor of love, created from love, with the intention to help others to feel better. I’ll admit that I’m not very good at the “social media thing” and prefer to post randomness about life in general. You know, dogs, and food, and travel, and dogs and food…. And dogs….🤓🐾… but I felt like taking a moment to say THANK YOU once again to everyone who has filled this little space with love and friendship and laughter. You make this what it is. Life is ALL THE THINGS, and cleansing can help us to really clear out old trapped energies, release emotions, and just plain ol’ help us to feel better, brighter, lighter, more blissful! I’ve found that as many people come here to feel better, I am the one always left feeling better… because of YOU. I see you, I love you, thank you. 🙏🏽🐾💕🌷.

Finding true love everyday on this planet, eating living things FILLED with living nutrients, minerals, vitamins from the sun and earth, 🌱 surrounding ourselves with high vibrational people, 🌈feeding our temple with only happy foods that are LIFE GIVING✨ these are a few things that make life grand. Giving thanks for our abilities, our animal friends, our lessons learned, and our ability to pull through the tough times. Thanking our friends and our teachers. We are all teachers. 🙏🏽 movement and rhythm throughout of muscles and beautiful unique bodies✨Everyday learning and breathing deep, music that feeds our souls, silence in the mind- even if just for a minute everyday. Since I’ve stopped drinking coffee and switched to chai teas, I’ve felt the red energy dissipate. It used to make my anxiety so bad and I felt like I was on drugs! If you’re feeling like coffee is an addiction in your life, try a chai tea latte. They’re amazing hot or cold. My daughter is a pro at making them. You can buy concentrates at your local health food stores and just add oat milk and or almond milk creamer to keep them non dairy and healthful. Just be careful as some are very high in sugar. A little about the history of this fantastic and high antioxidant drink.

Chai has a long history as a beloved beverage. The name literally means "tea," from the Chinese word "cha." But chai wasn’t always associated with black tea, as it is today. The earliest versions of chai were made entirely of spices, and didn’t include any tea at all until British colonization of India. Depending on which spices are used and how it’s brewed, chai tea can provide a variety of noteworthy health benefits. It's often low in calories, making it a healthy substitute for sugary beverages. Oregon Chai makes a sugar free concentrate, DONA is delicious, and you can also brew your own strong masala chai tea and add your own sweetener to taste.

Other potential benefits include:

Lower blood pressure. The cinnamon in chai tea may prevent hypertension, especially in people with diabetes. Research also indicates that people who drink several cups of black tea every day lower their blood pressure by several points.

Better brain power. The black tea and spices found in chai can provide significant benefits to both short-term and long-term cognitive function. Research reveals that the mere smell of cinnamon can improve both attention and memory. 🤔Black tea contains caffeine and the amino acid L-theanine, both of which are linked to improved focus. MAGIC POTION✨ Strawberry lemonade for my little Magnolia. Those who knows her will agree she has plenty of excess energy and definitely doesn’t need more sugar circulating throughout her 3 year old little body. She
L🍋VES lemonade so I made her this freshly squeezed magic potion. Juice 2 entire lemons, rind and all, add some strawberries, monk fruit extract to taste, and pour over ice. Add a sprig of mint to be fancy and there it is! Sugar free lemonade. You can use stevia too if you prefer. Blending the strawberries makes it more flavorful if you don’t want big pieces. Enjoy!

Today’s lovely concoction. Turmeric juice.. Most health food stores will carry a bag of fresh turmeric root. Freshly juiced along with pineapples makes for a delicious anti inflammatory potion. For this one, I added:
*2 oranges (although I prefer pineapple)
*4 large pieces of fresh turmeric
* 4 celery pieces
* 1 Persian cucumber
I like things on the strange tasting side, but for those who want to truly enjoy a delicious smoothie, you can juice the turmeric and add a big spoon of unrefined raw coconut oil, frozen pineapple, and frozen bananas. Add your choice of coconut milk, coconut water, or any liquid you like.
The benefits of turmeric are very we known in Ayurvedic medicine, a traditional Indian system of treatment, and recommends turmeric for a variety of health conditions. These include chronic pain and inflammation. It is known to help aid in improving liver function, and is currently being explored as a treatment for IBS. Start with small doses of fresh turmeric as it could possibly upset your stomach. It helps to produce more gastric acid which can help some with digestion, yet affect others not so kindly. Just start small and mix with happy fruits for an enjoyable potion and let the inflammation be a thing of the past.

Good morning! We all know the importance of drinking water, but do you typically wake up and go straight for coffee? If you’re having digestive issues of any sort, try holding off straight away and opting for water upon rising. There are many health benefits of drinking pure water on an empty stomach. 16 oz. upon waking can greatly benefit your skin, metabolism, energy levels, and to help to immediately clear and rinse the toxins through the body. Water cleanses out the colon, which makes nutrient absorption easier. It also helps the kidneys in producing hormones, absorbing minerals, filtering blood. Try adding fresh peaches, strawberries, lemon, herbs. Most Asian markets sell tulsi, which is a delicious way to infuse your water. Let sit in the fridge for an hour to maximize the flavors you f you’re infusing. Cheers! .

If you’ve been on a health kick and trying to w**d out what’s not so good for you, you’re probably under the impression that you should avoid certain carbs like white breads considering that white, refined grains are low in fiber and high in simple sugars—a.k.a. they threaten to spike your blood sugar and fat storing insulin levels. True, they’re probably not the best option if you’re trying to lose weight or maintain regular blood sugar levels. There’s a pretty incredible whole grain bread you may have never thought of or tried before. Ezekiel bread is one that is made from a blend of sprouted grains and legumes. By blending different grains and legumes, Ezekiel bread is able to become a complete protein, which contains all nine essential amino acids.
