As with everything costs have gone up for me and I’ve tried for as long as I could to not raise prices but now is the time. Let’s talk getting waxed on that time of the month!

I always have tampons in the shop in case you forget and/or don’t have one! It is no big deal to us estheticians to get waxed on your period. If you are uncomfortable or don’t use tampons you can reschedule no problem but just know we do not have a preference. There’s possibly more sensitivity (I never notice a difference tho) but otherwise it is ok to come in during your cycle. You can change into a fresh tampon in the shop as well if you wanted. There’s no need to tuck/cut the string but it’s really your preference all I ask is that you let me know! Sometimes if you don’t mention you’re on it I’ll assume it’s leftover toilet paper 😳 which, happens!
Let me repeat, I will never care if you’re on your period! It’s always up to you, what you’re comfortable with! Just make sure to have that tampon or period cup ready for the service! Don’t ever feel embarrassed because it is not an embarrassing thing—We are all people who get it!

Let’s talk about hair follicles. When hair is waxed, the hair is removed from the root, which is housed in the hair follicle. This process temporarily disrupts the follicle, often causing it to shrink slightly and go into a resting phase. Repeated waxing over time can weaken the hair follicle, leading to finer and sparser hair regrowth. In some cases, if the follicle is repeatedly damaged, it may stop producing hair altogether 👏👏 which is why consistent waxing is 🔑 key!
