I did it! Look at me, 1 year alcohol free! 1 year down and forever to go! They say the first year is the hardest, because well... it's all of your firsts! Your first bday without alcohol, your first vacation, first holidays, all of it! There's always an occasion. And I did it! I freaking did it! I said no to every urge and every could have been excuse. I'm so proud of myself!!! There's no looking back for me. Now time to eat this cake!! If you were wondering, yes, even a year later, The sweet tooth is still real!! Haha.

Today is a happy dance day for me! Today I celebrate 100 days alcohol free!! I made it to the triple digits. 🙌 Every year, when New Years goals come around, I set the goal to not drink for a year and by January 25th [my birthday] I always make the excuse to have a drink because of course, "I need a drink to celebrate." But look at me 100 days later, learning I don't need a drink to celebrate. I'm still cool if I go to a party and don't drink. I can go on vacation and have the time of my life without alcohol. Coming into the holidays, I'm so excited to stick to my goal! This past 100 days I've learned so many things like... the sweet tooth is sooo real! By making a commitment to myself and keeping my promise, it's grown my trust in myself, which in turn has built my self confidence in a way I never thought about before. I love me! I love my heart, I love my mind and I love all the people I have surrounding me. I've learned people really do celebrate you and not drinking. If you've thought about taking a break from drinking, do it! If I can do it, you can too! And it feels so dang good!!!
