I want to address something important regarding my business policies moving forward.

I am no longer accepting new clients who are unwilling to follow my payment terms. All services must be prepaid or secured with a deposit before the appointment is confirmed. If that is not acceptable, I respectfully ask that you seek another stylist.

Recently, I provided a service that took approximately 8–9 hours. The original quote was $225 for waist-length box braids.

During the appointment, additional services were requested, including hair color and eyebrow waxing, which increased the total to $380.

I also purchased hair for the client that was not reimbursed at the time of service.
Situations like this, along with continued price negotiation from clients after services are clearly listed, are no longer something I can accept. My pricing reflects my time, skill, product cost, and booth rent obligations. Add-ons are extra cost does not include the original quote

I work hard to provide quality service, and I also have financial responsibilities that require my prices to be respected and honored as listed.

Going forward, my policies are firm:
• Prepayment or deposit is required to book
• Prices are non-negotiable
• No services will be provided without agreed payment terms

I appreciate your understanding.

My reluctance to provide hair services, such as weaves and braids, stems from past experiences with clients who have not honored their payment obligations or attempted to negotiate my rates. As a result, I am highly selective about the clients I work with. For all services that require chemicals, braids, or more than two hours of time, I require pre-payment prior to commencing work. If you are unwilling to pre-pay, I kindly request that you seek services from another provider.

As a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing multifaceted responsibilities through 2025, I have developed and refined expertise in efficiently overseeing professional, personal, and financial affairs. In my capacity as a hairdresser with a demanding schedule, I have implemented a stringent prepayment policy for specialized services including chemical treatments, braiding, and hair weaves, necessitating payment prior to booking to preclude last-minute cancellations and payment issues. Consequently, appointments will be cancelled if payment is not received upfront. In alignment with this policy, please be advised that as of January 1, 2026, prepayment for these services will be mandatory at the salon. I respectfully request that clients adhere to this policy, honour the listed prices, and understand that negotiations and credit facilities are not available, ensuring a seamless experience for all parties involved.
