Just because you want to do a balayage and add dimension does not mean you need to go blonde! Sometimes just toning the hair, a few shades, lighter than the natural adds the most beautiful richness and warmth without washing out your skin tone🤎

Just 2 rows of 22” in shade “ Rocky Road” 🍨🍫 added the perfect amount of natural length and volume that seamlessly blend in with her natural hair!

Healthy extensions start with proper upkeep!
This is how you protect your natural hair AND your investment hair ✨

The process 🖤
The key to achieving a seamless low maintenance grow out is the blend BEFORE the toner. Toner is the final polish, not a bandaid. If a shadow root and toner are placed over top of sloppy foil work, what happens when that tone fades? A blotchy mess🫟

Hair Inspo Pics: Why Your Base Color Matters 🎨✨

When you bring in a hair inspiration photo, it’s super important to look at the model’s natural hair color — not just the final result.

Let me explain:

➡️ If you naturally have dark brown hair and show me a photo of someone who started with dirty blonde, even if I use the exact same toner and do the same foil placement, your result will look darker and more high-contrast — because your starting point is deeper.

➡️ If your natural hair is lighter, that same formula will look brighter, softer, and more blended — because there’s less dark pigment underneath.

💡 Think of it like painting on a white canvas vs. a brown one — same paint, totally different outcome.

So when picking inspo pics, try to choose someone with:
✔️ A similar natural root color
✔️ A similar skin tone and hair texture (extra helpful!)

This helps us get results that are realistic for you — and still stunning 💛

We’re officially off on our honeymoon! 🤪We’ll be out of the country for the next three weeks, so I’ll be a little lagged getting back to messages. If you need to book a new appointment or adjust your current one, please use the link in my bio. Can’t wait to be back in the salon making all of you beautiful, but in the meantime I will be soaking up every second of this vacation with my love❤️🇬🇷🇪🇸🇮🇹
