Myths about "fake" lashes...

1. They take out my real lashes

First, they aren't any more "fake" than faux materials we wear and consume. Second, lash extensions don't take out lashes natural people do tugging and pulling on applied lash extensions or not removing them properly can result in loss of the natural Lash. Also sources say shedding 1 to 4 lashes a say is normal. So when your normal lash goes so does the extension.

2. I may be allergic to the glue

Yes, you may, just as you may be allergic to 7 other ingredients In anything that comes into contact with your body. Allergic reactions will occur almost immediately so always insist on a test of the adhesive prior to application for the first time.

3. I don't like those thick fake looking lashes women are wearing.

I once had a client who insisted on the thinnest, shortest lash extension possible. She did not want them to look artificial. So you determine the look you want... natural for you maybe different than natural for someone else and drama for someone else may be different for you. Don't be afraid to communicate the look you want.

4. I hear they are really expensive and you have to go often to get fill-ins

Lash artist prices can go from a to z. While the cost is usually connected to the level of quality there's a range within that. Some lash artist do fills only if a few lashes re needed, others nly do full sets so they can look fresh. Shop around , try them and just like anything else you'll know when you find a Match.

5. Is it hard to take them off? I don't want to lose all of my lashes

There are ways to properly remove extensions when you want them all off. Your lash artist can safely do this, probably there will be a charge. Also you may remove them at home; ask your lash artist for recommendations on the best approach. Keep in mind that if you remove them yourself prior to a new application there could be residue that would interfere with longer wearing of the new ones
