Clients! Book your holiday appts ASAP. They are filling up. FYI I will be out of the salon most of Thanksgiving week. That leaves tomorrow, and a couple spots next week to get your hair done before thanksgiving. 🍂

I give myself Every. Damn. Excuse. Of not grabbing an after photo.

I don’t have time. My client doesn’t want to deal with my antics. Pictures won’t do it justice. It’s not what I was hoping for. The weather isn’t good outside. I don’t have a cool background. I’m not a professional photographer. It’s so subtle, why would I post it anyway. I could keep going.
Just because a stylist doesn’t post photos doesn’t mean they aren’t good, or aren’t busy. It could mean they are human and just terrible at taking them. It’s me! I’m terrible! But I’m going to get better! Next time you’re in my chair ask for a photo op! Let’s have some fun!!

First day of school was a success today! 11th, 7th, and 4th this year. Shine bright ladies!

It’s time to get 100% transparent with you guys. This is never a conversation a hairstylist wants to have, or any small business owner for that matter. I think I have been in denial or maybe even just trying to stay positive. But staying positive can only get you so far when the reality of things are just that…reality. With the world turning upside down, affecting everyone in different ways, I have lost a lot of clients. A lot of clients that were loyal and consistent with their appts. These friends/clients have moved out of state to start a new journey, and I wish them all the best! But this is not good for me and my business. As a stylist we are used to losing clients here and there; moving away, moving on to a new stylist, losing jobs and can’t afford the luxury, making families and not having the time or energy, schedules not working with yours, I can go on and on. But never in my 18 years of doing hair have I taken this big of a hit in such a short amount of time. I thought I scathed away and survived the “pandemic” buts it’s lasting effects along with other factors have finally caught up to me 2 years later.

With all of this being said, thank you so much to all of you that support me, even the ones that have moved on, or moved away. You have at some point supported me and that means a lot! To the ones still around, thank you for not leaving me…yet lol

And now for an attempt to bring some old faces back or add some new ones to my books. If at one point my schedule was just too hard to match up with yours, I have more available times on a more short notice time frame, and Some of my evening appointments have been freed up. Please feel free to reach out and see if our schedules line up. If you have friends, family, and co-workers (that you like) please feel free to share my info with them, I am accepting new clients again.
