Incredibly grateful for another year of life.
Another day. Another chance. Another opportunity. The older I get, the more I realize that life itself is the gift. Not the accomplishments. Not the milestones. Not the things we collect along the way. Just the privilege of waking up, breathing deeply, loving fully, and experiencing another sunrise. 27 changed me. It stretched me, humbled me, broke pieces of me open, and rebuilt me in ways I never could have imagined. It taught me that healing isn’t linear, that growth isn’t always beautiful, and that sometimes the most important journeys are the ones nobody sees.

This year, I released what no longer belonged to me fear, timelines, expectations, old versions of myself that I had outgrown. I learned to surrender. To trust. To come home to myself. Because 28 feels less like an arrival and more like a return.
A return to my faith. A return to my voice.
A return to the parts of me that never stopped shining, even when I forgot they were there. Today, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. Grateful for every lesson. Every challenge.
Every closed door. Every person who stood beside me when I couldn’t stand on my own. I am rich beyond measure not in things, but in love. In friendship. In support. In laughter. In community. In the countless people who remind me every day that I am seen, valued, and deeply loved. If this past year taught me anything, it’s that life becomes infinitely more beautiful when you stop rushing through it and start honoring it.

So I step into 28 the way the sun rises
without asking permission,
without apology,
and without doubting the light I was born to carry.
With intention.
With gratitude.
With love.
