People always see how well I am doing as a lash artist and working for myself. The most common asked question is well how can I start doing lashes?! It's not something you do overnight or even for the money. You have to love it! I truly enjoy sitting with each and every one of my clients, and catching up. I love to witness them grow throughout time. While I'm listening and chiming in, I get to show my artistic side and give each and everyone one of those ladies a set of lashes that compliments their eye shape. It sounds simple, "let me just throw some lash extensions on her" but that's just not how it works. Every set of eyes are different, so what works for one doesn't work for the others. It takes time and practice, reading all the trends, researching the new guidelines and health codes, and investing into my future with classes and etc. It's a constant thing. There's no lazy moments, there's never a "I just don't want to go to work, I'm going to call out." But is it worth it?! Yes; every single moment of it but that's because I enjoy what I do. The ups and downs of it. So my suggestion is find what you love and go full force with it, don't give up and give your all because at the end of the day, you'll look back and say man that was so worth it just like I am today.
