I always wished there was more tutorials on simple hairstyles like this when i was starting out! I feel like the basics of hairstyling is the hardest to learn because there’s so little education for the foundation of what bridal styling is! So here is a simple tutorial it’s nothing ground breaking or new, but I would say I do this style ALL the time and a half up was one of the styles I struggled with for the longest time! I’ve learned that though it is my work, it is NOT my face and my brides are the ones who have to wear my work all day and take photos in it! So their look should be 100% what they want. She told me she was scared to try something different, but we had had a thorough consultation and I saw her vision. With that being said, I let her know that nothing is permanent! We can change anything! Makeup is not a tattoo and any thing you aren’t obsessed with can absolutely be changed!
I feel like when I tell my clients this, it makes them more open to giving me feedback, so in the end they are 100% happy with their makeup!
