Pure tea tree oil is powerful. It’s known for: ✔️ Antibacterial & antifungal benefits

✔️ Supporting a healthier scalp environment for growth

When used correctly, it’s amazing for scalps that deal with buildup, odor, or irritation.

⚠️ BUT HERE’S THE PART PEOPLE SKIP:
Pure tea tree oil is VERY strong.

🚫 Overusing it can: – Dry the scalp out
– Cause irritation or burning
– Trigger redness, flaking, or inflammation
– Weaken the hair at the root if it’s constantly stripping natural oils

That “tingly clean” feeling? Too much of that = your scalp is stressed, not healed.

🧴 Best practice:
Tea tree oil should almost always be diluted (with water, aloe, or a carrier oil) and used 1–2 times a week max, not daily.

👶🏽 Now let’s talk age — because this matters.
Pure tea tree oil is NOT recommended for: ❌ Babies
❌ Toddlers
❌ Young children (generally under 6–7 years old)

Their scalps and nervous systems are more sensitive, and strong essential oils can be irritating or unsafe. If it’s a child, use gentle, formulated products, not straight essential oils.
