This client came to us with significant thinning through the top and crown, leaving quite a bit of visible scalp. With SMP, we strategically place hundreds of tiny impressions between her existing hairs to replicate the appearance of hair follicles.

We’re not creating new hair — we’re creating the illusion of more density.

By reducing the contrast between the lighter scalp and darker hair, the scalp becomes much less noticeable and the existing hair appears fuller.

With women’s density procedures, we don’t try to achieve maximum density in one appointment. SMP is built in layers. Each session allows us to add more impressions, refine the blend and gradually build density while keeping the result soft and natural.

Most clients will need approximately 3–4 sessions, depending on the amount of thinning, existing hair and how the scalp retains pigment.

Women’s hair thinning can happen for many reasons — hormonal changes, menopause, postpartum shedding, genetics, traction alopecia and other forms of hair loss.
